"The temple members are very curious to see how the peace talks in the
Middle East are going, especially because of the holidays," said Rabbi
Mark Sobel.
The last time a consulate representative spoke at the temple, about
two years ago, about 100 people attended, Sobel said.
"The speaker will provide information that we don't normally read in
newspapers. We expect a good number of people to attend," said Morris
Gold, publicity director for the temple.
Prior to the program, a breakfast will be served by the Men's Club at
9:15 a.m. The cost is $3.
The meeting is free and open to the public. Burbank's Temple Beth Emet
is at 600 N. Buena Vista St. For more information, contact 843-4787.
