GASPER FERLAZZO, SR.
Gasper Ferlazzo, Sr., 86, died Dec. 25, 1999, in Burbank.
Mr. Ferlazzo was born in Boston and lived in Los Angeles County for 60
years. He worked as an aircraft inspector with Lockheed Martin Corp. for
32 years.
Mr. Ferlazzo is survived by his son, Gasper, Jr.; sister, Lillian
Minitello; and his former wife, Lucile Ferlazzo.
A visitation and vigil were held Wednesday at Valley Funeral Home in
Burbank. A funeral Mass was held Thursday at St. Finbar Church. Interment
followed at San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills.

RICHARD WINSHIP HAGLUND
Richard Winship Haglund, 69, died Dec. 23, 1999, in Burbank.
Mr. Haglund was born in St. Paul, Minn., and lived in Burbank for
three years. He was employed by the city of Los Angeles for 30 years. Mr.
Haglund was a member of the American Association of Civil Engineers and
the Los Angeles City Employees Association.
He is survived by his sister, Jeanine H. Sullivan, and her husband,
Norman; nieces, Melanie S. Barella and Cynthia Sullivan; nephew-in-law,
Michael Barella; great nieces, Kaitlyn Leigh and Kristyn Noelle; and
great nephew, Tyler Michael.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American
Heart Association and the Burbank Humane Society.
MINNIE LOU BENNETT
Minnie Lou Bennett, 93, died Dec. 26, 1999, in Burbank.
Mrs. Bennett was born in Lawrenceburg, Tenn. She was a Burbank
resident for 61 years. She worked at the Burbank J.C. Penney Co. Inc. as
a stock person.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by her son, Lloyd; sister, Lee Robertson;
eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-grandson.
Funeral services were held Thursday at Eckerman-Heisman Funeral
Service Chapel in Burbank. Interment followed at Oakwood Memorial Park.
JAMES H. BARNES II
James H. Barnes II, 65, died Dec. 28, 1999, in North Hollywood.
Mr. Barnes was born in Mississippi. He was a Burbank resident for 48
years. He worked as a truck driver for 15 years at Fry Industries. Mr.
Barnes was also member of Burbank Moose Lodge No. 652.
He is survived by his brother, Francis; and sisters, Josephine C.
Reedy, of Burbank; Roselyn Hensley; Pamela Maas and Lynde Mesa.
A memorial service was held Tuesday at Eckerman-Heisman Funeral
Service Chapel in Burbank.
