Sign ups Saturday for youth soccer

HILLSIDE DISTRICT -- Early registration for Burbank American Youth

Soccer Organization (AYSO), Region 254, will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Saturday at John Muir Middle School.

Children 4 1/2 to 8 years old are eligible to sign up for the 2000

season. The fee for those who sign up Saturday is $65. The fee for

signing up during regular registration, which will be held Sunday through

March 15, is $75. After March 15, registration is $85, officials said.

AYSO is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to youth soccer. New players

are required to show proof of age with a birth certificate or

immunization record.
