The following incidents were taken from police reports.
MEDIA CITY CENTER
* 200 block of East Cypress Avenue: A 35-year-old Los Angeles woman
was arrested on suspicion of burglary at 2:15 p.m. Thursday at Macy's,
police said. Security officials at the department store saw the woman
place clothing, cookware and other items into a black backpack, police
said. The woman was detained by security workers in the parking lot after
she exited the store until officers arrived and arrested her, police
said.
AIRPORT DISTRICT
* 2600 block of Hollywood Way: Police are looking for the person who
took a bag containing a 9 mm handgun from the Burbank Airport at about 5
p.m. on Feb. 9. An officer with the Los Angeles Police Department who was
traveling through the airport, set the bag down and forgot about it,
police said. When the officer remembered the bag and returned to get it,
it was gone, police said.
