MEDIA DISTRICT WEST -- A well known children's author and educator
will present a workshop for parents at Robert Louis Stevenson Elementary
School.
Bev Bos' workshop will take place from 7 to 9:15 p.m. Feb. 24 at
Stevenson Elementary, 3333 W. Oak St., school officials said.
Bos, an author and former preschool teacher, will present
instructional strategies primarily for parents of young children.
The workshop will focus on getting children involved in music and the
arts. She will also discuss children's literature and instruct parents on
how to read to children in a way that encourages conversation, organizers
said.
The workshop is being sponsored by the Burbank Cooperative Preschool,
a nonprofit organization, in cooperation with the city of Burbank.
