Spring Arts Festival April 26

BURBANK -- The Alex Theatre will showcase a batch of little known but

talented artists on April 26.

The 21st Senate District Spring Arts Festival will feature

performances by students from several area schools, including the

Glendale High Hand Bell Choir and Hoover High Jazz Ensemble.

The Madrigals from Jordan Middle School in Burbank and the La Canada

High School Chamber Singers will also perform.

The event is being put on by state Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Burbank).

"It is truly inspiring and eye-opening to see what our talented and

hard-working young performers have been able to achieve," he said in a

statement.

The festival begins at 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

The theater is at 216 N. Brand Blvd.
