Laura Christine Berger and John Edward Marsh, both of La Crescenta,

were married at the First Baptist Church of La Crescenta. Pastor Paul

Weir and Pastor Jeff Myers officiated.

The ceremony began with a video retrospective of the couple's lives.

The matron of honor was Lisa Myers. The bridesmaids were Nancy Roberts

Berger, Erica Crane, Tiffany Caprarella, Angela Johnson and Amy Chessum.


The flower girls were Eryn Sommers and Samantha Burns. The ring bearer

was Caleb Myers.

Mike Sartinski was the best man. The groomsmen were Robert Berger Jr.,

Mike Huber, Curtis Hill, Mike Castle, Aaron Squires and Mario Mosesman.

A reception followed at the church. It was attended by the bride's

first-grade students, as well as 400 other guests.

The couple took a honeymoon Disney Cruise to Florida and the Bahamas.

They will make their home in Glendale.

The bride is the daughter of Diane and Robert Berger of La Crescenta.

She attended Crescenta Valley High School and Pasadena City College.

She received her bachelor's degree in liberal studies and her teaching

certificate from Azusa Pacific University. She is a first-grade teacher

at Trinity Christian School.

The groom is the son of Patricia and Dennis Marsh of La Crescenta.

He attended Crescenta Valley High School and Pasadena City College. He

received a bachelor's degree from Azusa Pacific University and is a

graduate student. He is the junior high director at First Baptist Church

of La Crescenta.
