"Monkey Grass," continues at The Victory Theatre, 3326 W. Victory Blvd.
in Burbank. Directed by The Victory's co-artistic director, Maria
Gobetti, the play is about a Hollywood producer who is suddenly called

come to terms with her past, so she can have a present.
Murphy received the Ovation Award in 1995 for best writing of a world
premiere play for "Catch A Falling Star," produced by The Victory.
Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 7 p.m.
Sundays through June 25. Tickets are $18 through $20 and can be reserved

ART EXHIBITS
Artists' works have
links to the past
The Creative Arts Center Gallery in Burbank is featuring artists Nick
Fedak of Burbank, Bonese Collins Turner of Woodland Hills and Teri Garcia
of Santa Clarita in an exhibit through June 16.
Their works have several similarities. Fedek's photographic pieces
feature people and things of the past. Turner's works on paper
memorialize people and places from the past. Garcia's recent works
suggest a surreal view of the past, done in her signature colored pencil.
The gallery is at 1100 W. Clark Ave. in George Izay Park in Burbank.
The arts center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. It will be
