Airport announces 'listening sessions'

AIRPORT DISTRICT -- As part of its 18-month study seeking a curfew on

nighttime flights, the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority has

set up four "listening sessions" to gauge public sentiment.

The study, known as a Part 161, could cost as much as $4 million,

airport officials said. The four sessions are scheduled for August.

WHEN: Monday, Aug. 21, 6:30 to 9 p.m.

WHEN: Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2 to 4:30 p.m.

WHERE: Glenwood School, 8001 Ledge Ave., Sun Valley.

WHEN: Tuesday, Aug. 22, 6:30 to 9 p.m.

WHERE: Beverly Garland's Holiday Inn, 4222 Vineland Ave., North

Hollywood.

WHEN: Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2 to 4:30 p.m.

WHERE: Radisson Valley Center Hotel, 15433 Ventura Blvd., Sherman

Oaks.
