BURBANK -- Back-to-School Nights, an annual tradition in which parents
learn what is in store for and what is expected of their children in the
year ahead, will be held Monday through Thursday at Burbank Unified
campuses.
This year, parents will receive copies of the California Department of
Education content standards. The standards describe what students should
know at a each level of their schooling.
For most elementary and middle schools, Back-to-School Night will be
from 6:30 to 8 p.m. For high schools, events are scheduled from 7 to 9:30
p.m. For information, call individual school sites.
