GLENDALE -- Nike will offer a series of holiday golf camps for boys
and girls ages 7 to 17 at Scholl Canyon Golf Course in Glendale this
weekend and Dec. 27 and 28.
Nike Junior Holiday Golf Camps are held at golf courses operated by
American Golf and are open to juniors of all skill levels. They combine
traditional golf fundamentals with instruction in such practical areas as
golf jargon and terminology, proper etiquette and how to operate a golf
cart.
"In addition to being a healthy activity, golf helps to instill
positive values such as honesty, commitment, responsibility and good
sportsmanship," said Rhonda Moret, director of marketing for American
Golf's learning centers.
The Holiday Camps cost $149 per student and include lunch each day and
