Clay and his girlfriend to come out.

A housekeeper told police Clay had put her in a headlock and tried to

choke her. Police said Clay also grabbed his girlfriend, who had bruises

on her neck.

Sgt. John Dilibert said Clay, dressed in a yellow Lakers shirt, gave

up without a fight.

He added that Clay had a warrant out for his arrest for battery,

although he did not know if it involved his girlfriend.

Clay was being held in Burbank City Jail on $77,500 bail. He will be

arraigned Tuesday.
