NORTHWEST DISTRICT -- The Luther Burbank Middle School Vocal Music
Assn. will present its spring show, "On and Off Broadway," at 7 p.m.
Thursday in the school auditorium, 3700 Jeffries Ave.
The school's three choirs, Madrigals, Melody in Motion and Mixed
Chorus, will perform selections of their favorite songs along with
individuals and student groups.
Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for seniors and students. Parent
boosters will sponsor a bake sale, snack bar and flower sale. Money
raised will benefit the vocal music program and help cover the cost of
sheet music, costumes, accompanists, choreographers and transportation to
competitions.
The choir is under the direction of Sylvia Nielsen-Ioka.
