BURBANK -- Ballots for Burbank's special all-mail election Oct. 9 are

expected to hit the post office Sept. 10.

Measure A -- a ballot measure requiring the city to implement

limitations on Burbank airport that include a cap on flights and

passengers, a mandatory curfew and an agreement with the Airport

Authority curbing expansion -- will go to voters in the form of a mail-in

ballot.

Voters should remember to sign the envelope before sending the ballot

in. In addition, voters should sign their names the way they're

registered to vote.

A voter's registered name will appear on the mailing label of the

ballot.

If there is a discrepancy in the signature of the voter, City Clerk

Judie Sarquiz will send letters, call or send the ballot back to the

voter for verification, she said.
