Los Angeles Philharmonic to perform free concert

HILLSIDE DISTRICT -- The Los Angeles Philharmonic will perform a free

neighborhood concert in Burbank later this month.

The group will perform at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 at John Muir Middle School,

1111 N. Kenneth Road, in Burbank.

The program will include the "Toy Symphony" by Leopold Mozart, father

of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Symphony No. 1 by Sergei Prokofiev.

Although the concert is free, those interested in attending are

encouraged to call in advance to arrange their free tickets.

Priority seating will be given to ticket holders who arrive early.

Doors open at 7:15 p.m. for ticket holders. Seating for those without

tickets will begin at 7:45 p.m.
