Burbank high schools collect for good cause

BURBANK -- Burbank's two comprehensive high schools will begin

collecting materials for needy families this week and continue to collect

through December.

Members of the Share Club at John Burroughs High School will begin by

collecting canned soup this week, baby food the week of Nov. 12, pasta

the week of Nov. 19, pasta sauce the week of Nov. 26, Ramen noodles the


week of Dec. 3 and cranberries and yams the week of Dec. 10.

All donations will benefit the Burbank Temporary Aid Center.

Members of the Hope Club at Burbank High School will host a blanket

drive that begins Monday and goes until Nov. 10. The collected blankets

will also benefit the Burbank Temporary Aid Center.
