BURBANK -- The Burbank City Council will accept applications through
Jan. 18 for appointments to the city's Downtown Parking Management
Committee.
Preferably, an individual from each of the following groups will sit
on the committee: a planning board member, a downtown stakeholders'
association member, a Media City Center representative and one business
from each of the eight blocks bounded by Angeleno Avenue, 1st Street,
Magnolia Boulevard and 3rd Street.
Established June 29, 1999, the ad hoc committee meets every other
month or on an as-needed basis. The length of the appointment runs until
the council disbands the committee or until a member resigns.
Applications, due Jan. 18, are available at the city clerk's office in
City Hall, 275 E. Olive Ave. The council is expected to make appointments
to the committee on Jan. 29. For more information call 238-5851.
