LINDA WILLIAMS
Linda Williams, 83, died Feb. 27, 2002, in her North Hollywood home.
Ms. Williams was born Aug. 5, 1918, in Mercer County, N.D. She lived
in North Hollywood all of her adult life.
Ms. Williams was involved in many Burbank activities, including
Burbank on Parade. She was active in the Magnolia Park Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; son Paul of Ventura and his
wife, Debbie; granddaughter Rachel; brothers and sisters-in-law Harold
and Mary Lou Miller and Ralph and Patricia Miller; sisters Hilda Roorda,
Erna Finley, and June Longshore; sister and brother-in-law Alice and
William Lane; nieces; nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at Magnolia Park Methodist
Church, 2828 W. Magnolia Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Assn.,
1710 Gilbreth Road, Burlingame, CA 94010-1317.
RUTH PILCHER DANIEL
Ruth Pilcher Daniel died Feb. 27, 2002, in Burbank. She was 70.
Ms. Daniel was born in Lindale, Ga. on July 1, 1921. She was a Burbank
resident for 46 years.
Ms. Daniel was retired.
She is survived by daughters Teresa Marcella and Carolyn Van Item;
three sisters; two brothers; nine grandchildren; and 13
great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was Tuesday at Little Country Chapel. Pierce Bros.
Valhalla Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
FLORENCE DELIA BROWN
Florence Delia Brown died Feb. 25, 2002, in Beaverton, Ore. She was
82.
Ms. Brown was born Nov. 25, 1912, in Cannon Falls, Minn. She had lived
in Burbank for more than 40 years.
Ms. Brown was a homemaker. She was a member of the Braille Institute
and St. Finbar Catholic Church, and participated in sing-alongs at the
Joslyn Adult Center.
Ms. Brown is survived by son and daughter-in-law Bob and Connie Radke
of Beaverton; grandson Michael Radke, serving in the armed forces in
Germany; granddaughters Yvonne Baker of Albany, Ore., and Yvette McCall
of Beaverton; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for a later date in Burbank. American
Burial & Cremation Services of Oregon was in charge of funeral
arrangements.
