BURBANK -- "Snow White," a new version of the Grimm Brothers old

classic, is continuing at The Falcon Theatre.

It was adapted by Thorin Alexander with direction by Hope Alexander.

It blends all the story's favorite characters with a new twist.

Hope has worked from Costa Mesa at the South Coast Repertory Theatre

all the way to Paris, France. She has received multiple DramaLogue and

Critic's Circle awards.

Playwright Thorin's credits include dramaturg on "The Last of Mrs.

Lincoln" for director Art Manke at the El Portal Theatre Center and

dramaturgical assistant on "Pericles" for A Noise Within in Glendale.

Tickets are $10 and reservations can be made by calling 955-8101. Show

times are 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday through June 16. The

Falcon Theatre is at 4252 Riverside Drive.

Car club has Chevy Night

at Bob's Big Boy

The Road'ers Car Club members will be heading down Glenoaks Boulevard

for their monthly Cruise In car show from 6 to 9 tonight at Bob's Big

Boy, 1407 W. Glenoaks Blvd., Glendale.

"Chevy Night" is the theme, and the owner of the best Chevy will take

home a special trophy.

In addition, other trophies will be awarded in several categories for

hot rods, muscle cars, special interest vehicles, or classic cars. A DJ

will be playing music, and there will be a raffle and 50/50 cash

drawings.

'Over the River' opens

at Centre Theatre

The Broadway comedy, "Over The River And Through The Woods," opened

this week at Glendale Centre Theatre.

The play was written by Joe DiPietro whom critics are calling the new

Neil Simon, and is the newest play Centre Theatre has produced. It was

introduced in New York in 1998 and ran for two years.

It's the heartwarming story of how a family will go to outrageous

lengths to keep their grandson from taking a lucrative job in another

state.

Directing this production is George Strattan.

The play continues through May 25. Tickets range from $13 to $16. For

Group's CD release

party at Club Lush

Moe Jones will have its CD release party for "Cup of Joe" from 7 to 11

p.m. Sunday at Club Lush in Glendale.

Lead singer Michelle Holmes categorizes the group's music as

Alternative Retro, as its original songs blend elements of rock 'n' roll,

jazz, folk and blues.

Also appearing are Sean Wiggins, Kelly's Lot and Sanaiya.

Club Lush is at 617 S. Brand Blvd. There is no cover charge. For more
