HILLSIDE DISTRICT -- Woodbury University has a new dean of the School
of Business and Management.
Tom Harrington will oversee the accounting, business and management,
e-commerce, fashion marketing, marketing and MBA programs.
Harrington previously worked at the University of South Florida and
Florida Gulf Coast University, where he was a professor of decision
sciences, director of college accreditation and coordinator of college
undergraduate programs.
He retired from the Air Force as lieutenant colonel after 20 years of
service. His last military post was at the Pentagon, where he was
director of the transportation programs branch for the Air Force.
A national search was conducted to find the successor to former
business dean Richard King, who stepped down in May 2001 and serves on
Woodbury's board of trustees.
