AMPARO GEORGE
Amparo George, 86, died Aug. 23, 2002, in Burbank.
Born April 30, 1916, in Guantanamo, Cuba, she lived in Burbank for
30 years.
Mrs. George is survived by her son, Tirso (Matilda); daughter,
Eloina; three grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A vigil service was Sunday and Mass was Monday at St. Finbar
Catholic Church. Valley Funeral Home was in charge of direction.
CAROL ANN PETERSON
Carol Ann Peterson, 59, died Aug. 13, 2002, in Burbank.
Born July 9, 1943, in Manchester, Conn., she lived in Burbank for
16 years.
She was a nanny for the stars, traveling the world to care for the
children of actors.
Ms. Peterson is survived by her children, Dan, Chris, Erik and
Jeff; sister, Bessie; brothers, Russell and Charlie; and five
grandchildren.
Memorial services are at 2 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Little White
Christian Church, 1711 N. Avon St.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society
or the Carol Peterson Memorial Fund at Little White Chapel.
