Run by longtime Park & Rec, parochial and high school Coach Mike
Graceffo, its main purpose is to help players learn and hone their
basketball skills. There will be one coach for every 10 players.
Players will also receive a T-shirt, a profile card outlining
strengths and weaknesses, a self-help drills sheet, a certificate of
participation and will take part in free-throw contests, pickup games
and watch basketball videos.
Players will also get a chance to enter prize drawings and be
treated to a pizza party.

Youth basketball officials' training
Individuals who are of high-school age can make money being youth
basketball officials for the Burbank Park, Recreation and Community
Services leagues.
Officials will work weekend and Saturday games and will make $11 a
game.
There is a mandatory classroom training session for all
prospective players from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 10 at Olive Recreation
Center Room 6 at 1111 W. Olive Ave. Pizza and soft drinks will be

Youth basketball scorekeepers wanted
Individuals in grades seven and up can earn $8 a game as
scorekeepers for the Burbank Park, Recreation and Community Services
youth basketball leagues.
New scorekeepers must attend a least four mandatory classroom
sessions Nov. 5, 12 19 or 26 and pass a test Dec. 3. Returning
scorekeepers have to attend two sessions
