Local youth perform with Pasadena Pops

The Pasadena Pops Orchestra will feature youngsters from the local

area in its family-oriented concert "A Joyful Noise" at 3 p.m. Sunday

at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

Under the direction of conductor Rachael Worby, the Pops orchestra

will be joined by the Pasadena Jazz Orchestra, featuring violinist

Danielle Nesmith and the Occidental-Foothill Master Chorale.

High school vocal groups will add their voices to the celebration

including youngsters from La Canada Flintridge and Glendale high

schools.

Tickets range from $10 to $40, and a special $100 ticket includes

a post-concert champagne reception. There is a $5 discount for

children 12 and younger and group rates are available for 10 or more
