The bodies of a Burbank man and his nephew lost at sea for more

than a week have report- edly been found after washing ashore. Hyong

Kim, 46, of Burbank, and Dae Kyu Kim, 35, of Los Angeles, were

Huntington Beach.

They left Nov. 24 to go fishing south of Long Beach but never

Rescue groups including the Coast Guard, the Costa Mesa and

Huntington Beach police departments and Bolsa Chica lifeguards

started their search for the men that night but called it off 25

hours later after scouring 1,400 square miles.

Lifeguards reportedly found Dae Kim's body Monday near the

Huntington Beach Pier. His uncle's body was found Tuesday near Bolsa

Chica State Beach.

The Orange County Coroner's Office is still investigating the

cause of death. Sea conditions were fair the afternoon they

disappeared.
