Student asks, why run again?

As a senior at Burbank High School, I have the following questions

for the three school board members running for reelection.

First off, Elena Hubbell, how many terms does it take for your

opinion to get heard? We've been there, done that. Do you think you

can give someone else a chance now?

Next, Richard Raad, you're running again because you believe your

experience is important to the board. Huh?

And finally, Mike McDonald, if I buy you a new La-Z Boy chair,

could you just find another place to sleep on Thursday nights?

Streets are not a used car lot

What is with all the cars "for sale" on our beautiful streets of

Burbank? I have anywhere from one to three cars for sale in front of

my home every week.

There are times that the phone numbers on those cars are all the

same. There are people negotiating deals in front of my home any hour

of day or night.

This is my home, not a used car lot. Traffic control has helped a

lot, but they keep coming back and park here for days. Let's help

clean up our town with this unsightly situation.
