Army Spec. Donald G. Rohwer, son of Donald G. and Roberta H.
Rohwer of Burbank, has graduated from the Ranger training course at
the U.S. Army Ranger School in Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
Navy Chief Warrant Officer Jerry L. Simpson, son of Kathleen K.
McWain of Ohio and Raymond W. Simpson of Burbank, is halfway through
a six-month deployment to the Western Pacific Ocean and Arabian Gulf.
He is home-ported in San Diego. He is a 1982 graduate of Verdugo
Hills High School.
Vahag Vartanian, son of Khachik and Juliet Vartanian of Glendale,
has graduated from the Uniformed Services University of the Health
Sciences in Bethesda, Md. The graduate received a medical degree and
was commissioned to the rank of captain with a minimum seven-year
active duty service commitment.
He is a 1992 graduate of Glendale High School, and a 1997 graduate
of UC Irvine.
Erin K. Frazier, daughter of Alan and Cynthia Frazier of Montrose,
has entered basic cadet training at the U.S. Air Force Academy in
Colorado Springs, Colo. She is a 2002 graduate of Flintridge Sacred
Heart Academy.
Navy Midshipman Michael B. Robison has completed six weeks of U.S.
Naval Academy Indoctrination in Annapolis, Md. He is a 2002 graduate
of Flintridge Preparatory School.
