The lights went out for nearly 1,500 homeowners and 300 businesses
when palm fronds hit a power line during Monday's rainstorm.
The outage affected users from Hollywood Way to the North
Hollywood border, and from Burbank Boulevard to Magnolia Boulevard,
said Greg Simany, Burbank Water and Power assistant general manager.
Power was out from 2:21 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The fronds were from
