Toy run dedicated to longtime member

GLENDALE -- The Road'ers Car Club has dedicated its annual holiday

toy run to longtime member Jim Thomas, who died in August.

The Jim Thomas Memorial Toy Run to Lake Piru will begin at 10 a.m.

Saturday. The group will leave from Bob's Big Boy, 1407 W. Glenoaks Blvd., Glendale. Anyone is welcome to join the cruise and bring a

lunch.

Members will return to Bob's for the Cops For Kids Christmas Car

Show from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday. There will be a surprise visit by

Santa Claus.

Spectators are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to

the Glendale Police Toy Closet.
