Siblings celebrate combined 212 years of marriage
Thirty years after their parents, Henry and Daisy Paul, celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary at the Burbank home of their daughter,
Deane Paul Phinney, their four children marked their own golden
anniversary at the same location.
Lowell and Leah Paul of White Rock, British Columbia, celebrated
50 years of marriage; Eileen "Paul" and Robert Schultz of San Marino,
55 years; Patricia "Paul" and Larry Shook of Birmingham, Ala., 49
years; and Deane "Paul" and Harold Phinney of Burbank, 58 years.
Sixty-five family members were present at the celebration, some
local and others from Michigan, Alabama, Texas, Arizona, Canada,
Oregon and Northern California. A cousin, Harold Cope, attended
wearing the Scottish attire of the Robertson clan that is part of the
family heritage.
After the festivities, the evening ended with a video produced by
Heidi Paul that chronicled the family life history of the four
couples celebrating their anniversaries.
