BURBANK-- More than 3,000 schoolchildren will learn factoids such
as what type of pie George Washington most favored or why Abraham
Lincoln wore a beard during "A Visit with Great Presidents & Betsy
Ross, Too!"
The event, in celebration of Presidents Day, is at 9:30, 10:30
and 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
Actors Grand Owens, John Kendall, Brian Adams and Deborah McIntosh
will perform as George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson
and Betsy Ross, respectively.
The performers will offer first-hand accounts of the lives and
times of the historical figures, as well as a demonstration on how to
make a five-pointed star. On Wednesday, Celebration USA's Catch the
Spirit singers will serenade the audience with patriotic music.
