The following incidents were taken from police reports:

MEDIA DISTRICT WEST

* 551 Hollywood Way: A 33-year-old transient was arrested

Wednesday on suspicion of assault after slapping a cup of coffee out

of a Hollywood man's hand. Police said the incident, which occurred

about 7:30 a.m., appeared to be a misunderstanding, as it was

unclear why the transient attacked the other man.

* 200 block of North Catalina Street: A 93-year-old Burbank woman

reported Wednesday an antique steamer trunk and two garden hoses were

stolen from behind her home.

MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH

* 1800 Empire Ave.: Police investigated an apparent case of

parking-lot rage that occurred Wednesday night outside Target. Three

Burbank women were arguing about a paint scratch caused by a car door

when one woman allegedly slapped the other two across the face and

neck. No arrests were made.

SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT

* 200 block of West Elm Street: A 14-year-old Burbank boy

reported Tuesday that a Sony Playstation 2 video-game system and

several games were stolen from his home. He told police the items

were there when he left in the morning, but gone when he returned

home around 5 p.m.
