The following information was taken from police reports:
CIVIC CENTER
* Olive Avenue and First Street: A 71-year-old Glendale man was
arrested Thursday on suspicion of hit-and-run and driving under the
influence. The suspect allegedly rear-ended another vehicle at a red
light and continued west on Olive Avenue before police stopped him.
RANCHO DISTRICT
* 600 block of South Griffith Park Drive: A 32-year-old North
Hollywood man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of assault with a
deadly weapon. While moving out of his 29-year-old girlfriend's home,
he noticed a moving box partially opened, became angry and allegedly
threatened the victim with a handgun.
HILLSIDE DISTRICT
* 500 block of East Magnolia Boulevard: A 29-year-old Burbank man
was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of assault and battery after
getting into a fight with his brother -- a 35-year-old Burbank man --
about watching TV.
* Glenoaks Boulevard and Cedar Avenue: A 23-year-old Glendale man
was arrested Wednesday during a routine traffic stop on suspicion of
possessing a controlled substance without a prescription.
NORTHWEST DISTRICT
* Edison Boulevard and Clybourn Avenue: A 24-year-old North
Hollywood man was arrested Wednesday during a routing traffic stop on
suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
