This spring, the club will once again award scholarships to high
school seniors who are planning to continue their education. The
process of selecting who will be awarded is always a tough process,
as there are many remarkable candidates in the Burbank area.
This year, members are increasing the number of scholarships
presented from two to five. The group raises funds for scholarships
through its annual Woman of the Year luncheon. The club's main
fundraiser, Burbank's Woman of the Year, honors a woman who has made
a true difference to the community and even the nation.
Margarita Campos, Burbank's city clerk, was initiated into Zonta
in December.
If you would like to offer a few hours of your time every month
for service to the community, region, country and the world, call
