Gary and Patricia Stephens
Gary and Patricia Stephens of Burbank celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary with a party at the Coral Cafe in Burbank. About
40 people attended, including family and friends.
The day after the party, the Stephens drove up to the central
coast for a week's vacation.
The couple were married July 17, 1954, in St. Monica's Church in
Detroit.
Gary owned a business in Michigan and has owned Shurbrite
Maintenance since 1963, which he now runs out of their home.
Patricia has been a homemaker -- raising the couple's nine
children Russ, Cherly, Larry, Cathy, Mike, Judy, Sally, Bobby and
Dennis. The couple has 13 grandchildren.
The Stephens collect antiques and scale model cars and participate
in outings with friends and family. Gary also enjoys metal detecting
and has found nice jewelry like rings for Patricia.
