Attendance at council shows he cares Regarding Mr...

I would also like to jog Alfred's memory regarding the new

Rite-Aid at Hollywood Way and Magnolia. If the City Council can bring

up the negativity surrounding the Rite-Aid building, I have the right

to bring up P.F. Chang's.

Alfred still further accuses me of only talking about my

interests, and not what it is good for Burbank. Once again, he is

mistaken. A number of residents have stopped to talk to me about the

same issues I bring up at the council meetings.

The council has not learned from its mistakes. With the $9

million brand new AMC -- where is the parking lot they promised and

giving away land worth $3 million to $4 million for a mere $100. This

money could have been better used in areas that are in dire need.

Does Alfred not care?

I'm sorry that Alfred has a problem with what I say at council

meetings. I will continue to exercise my legal rights under the law.

I'm sorry that he finds that so offensive.

Alfred wonders why we all repeat ourselves. Here's my answer to

that. How about nobody's listening.

Last year or so, one council regular had to repeat himself five

times over the course of time regarding the tree wells on Angeleno.

It wasn't until I almost got hurt on one and said something to the

council, did they finally start correcting the problem.

I work at an adult day healthcare center. I work with those who

are physically challenged. Also, I see somebody at the council

meetings who was ambulated with a wheelchair and now with a walker. I

would hate to see her try to walk "through" a car or around one that

is blocking the sidewalk. I've even seen a police car drive by a car

blocking the sidewalk and didn't do anything.

Again, he wonders why we all repeat ourselves. I think the reasons

are obvious.

Again, I am sorry that Alfred has chosen not to listen to the

truth and distorts it with his own perceptions.
