Sonnie -- Hoch

Monica Sonnie and Darryl Hoch have announced their engagement and

plan to marry in February.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Lupe Sonnie of La

Canada Flintridge and is a graduate of La Canada High School.

She has a bachelor's degree in biology from UC Irvine and a

master's in business administration from USC.

She is a director at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange.

The groom-elect is the son of L. Paul Hoch of Littleton, Colo.,

and Patricia Lockwood of Lawrence, Mass.

He is a graduate of Cal State Long Beach and has a bachelor's

degree in electrical engineering.

He is a senior hardware engineer at QSC in Costa Mesa.
