A diabetes selfmanagement class will be offered from 9 a.m. to

2:30 p.m. at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, Lockheed B & C,

501 S. Buena Vista St., Burbank. The course will update diabetics on

the latest trends in diabetes management and provide practical tools

to reduce or control the risk. The class is covered by

MediCare/MediCal, major insurance plans and HMO. A doctor's

Improv-O-Mania, an afternoon of improvisational comedy mayhem,

kicks off the Family Fun Days series at 2 p.m. at Grove Theater

The Downtown Burbank outdoor concert series ends this week with

Ricky Woodard at 7 p.m. performing at the AMC Walkway at Palm Avenue

Coltrane, has developed a distinctive, soulful and selective sound.
