Casino night on the horizon

The Burbank Chamber of Commerce will have its annual "Monte Carlo Night" IN the evening April 1 in the Grand Ballroom of the Sheraton Universal Hotel at 333 Universal Hollywood Drive in Universal City. In association with Walt Disney Co. and Warner Bros. Entertainment, the evening will have gaming, music, and dancing in celebration of the chamber's new president, Rich Roche of AT&T. More than 500 of Burbank's businesses and community leaders will attend the event, with all proceeds supporting the chamber's programs.

Those who attend are encouraged to contribute a gift certificate or an item for the event's silent auction. In addition, sponsorship packages for the chamber are available, ranging from $1,500 to $5,000. All donations must be received by March 17 via mail.

Individual tickets cost $125 and can be purchased by contacting the auction committee office at (818) 846-3111.

Chamber networking events upcoming

The Burbank Chamber of Commerce provides two networking opportunities each month for members.

The Business Connection Luncheon is at 11:30 a.m. the second Thursday of every month at The Castaway restaurant at 1250 Harvard Road.

Each luncheon has a guest speaker as well as the chance to present a brief commercial about your business

In addition, a mixer occurs at 5:30 p.m. the fourth Thursday of every month at a continually changing venue.
