Tep Thai offers innovative and traditional dishes

Tep Thai has been a mainstay of Thai cuisine in Glendale since 1984.

Owners Jimmy and Pat Tavornwattana strive to serve the best Thai food made with the freshest ingredients. The chef has over 20 years of cooking experience in Thailand.

Tep Thai serves all the traditional dishes, like chicken Satay, Tom Kah Kai (hot and sour coconut chicken soup), Pad Thai (pan-fried noodles with chicken, shrimp, and egg garnished with crushed peanuts and bean sprouts), and succulent Thai barbecue pork, chicken, and beef.

Their steamed dumplings are stuffed with wholesome ingredients like ground chicken and shrimp, mushrooms and water chestnuts.

The Angel Wing appetizers are filled with chicken, silver noodles, Shitake mushrooms and water chestnuts.

The seafood enthusiast will enjoy trying the Tep Thai scallops, which are delicately sauteed in a garlic or Thai basil sauce and the Seafood a la King which is a bounty of crab claws, shrimp, calamari, mussels, scallops and fish fillets in a red ginger hot sauce served on a bed of steamed rice.

The salad lover can also experience a new dish in the Naked Shrimp salad which is made with fresh barbecued shrimp and is served on a bed of lettuce with a spicy roasted chili dressing.

If diners cannot come to the restaurant, the Tep Thai staff will gladly take your order over the phone and have it delivered to you hot and fresh.
