Members of the Glendale High softball team and several coaches will monitor the clinics.

The cost for the six-week session is $60 for YMCA students and $85 for nonmembers.

Participants are expected o bring their own glove and shoes (rubber cleats or tennis shoes).

Goffredo's camp set for this summer

The 28th annual John Goffredo Basketball Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 26-30 at Crescenta Valley High's old gymnasium, 2900 Ramsdell Ave., La Crescenta.

The event, which is geared for children ages 6-15, will feature awards, trophies, T-shirts, guest speakers, an evaluation and more.

The cost is $200 per person. The registration deadline is June 1.

The tuition after June 1 is $230 per person.

Spartans to hold basketball camp

La Ca"ada High girls' basketball Coach Tamar Hill will hold her sixth annual Spartan All-Star Camp this summer at the La Ca"ada High gymnasium, 4463 Oak Grove Drive, La Ca"ada Flintridge.

The sessions will run from 1:15 to 5 p.m. June 26-30, July 10-14 and July 24-28.
