'Reflections' winners are named, recognized

Award recipients for the 2006-07 Reflections Art Program, themed "My Favorite Place," were recognized on Tuesday at Burbank High School during the PTA meeting.

The winners from Burbank High School were Dennis Brian Wilson, first place for literature; Grace Kang, second place for literature; Mary Beth Medina, first place for visual arts; and Bret Kendell, first place for music composition.

Students to visit local health center patients

Members of Burbank High School's Associated Student Body will visit residents at the Alameda Health Care Center Geriatric Facility, 925 W. Alameda Ave. from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Students will bring gifts and treats for the residents and socialize with them in the spirit of the holidays.
