Brand 35: 35th National Juried Exhibition Works on Paper: "Borders" is continuing at Brand Library & Art Center in Brand Park, 1601 W. Mountain St., Glendale. The show closes Jan. 19. The event is hosted by the Associates of the Brand Library & Art Center. Eighty-five works on paper in a variety of media, including watercolor, etchings, photography, drawings and mixed media works, have been selected for display by Juror Jim Morphesis, a Los Angeles painter. Glendale photographer Stephen Blaha presents his one-man photography show, "LONDON/Reflections" at the Kodak Photo Gallery, 601 N. Glendale Ave., Glendale. The show features a range of urban landscapes and street images including some new ways to view some of the classic London images from intimate neighborhood shots. Gallery hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The show closes Thursday. For more information, call (818) 244-3686.

The Troubadour Theater Company blends Shakespeare's "Much Ado about Nothing" with the music of the Doobie Brothers in "Much Adoobie Brothers About Nothing!" opening at 8 p.m. at the Falcon Theatre, 4252 Riverside Drive, Burbank. "Beyond Expectation" a showcase exhibition of master colored pencil work by seven Southland artists opens with a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Creative Arts Center Gallery, 1100 W. SATURDAY

The New England Youth Ensemble, directed by Virginia-Gene Rittenhouse and joined by the Columbia Collegiate Chorale, will present a concert at 10:50 a.m. at the Vallejo Drive Seventh-day Adventist Church, 300 Vallejo Drive, Glendale.
