Companies bring TV shows to cellphones

Burbank-based Walt Disney Co. and ABC television have partnered with Sprint to bring Sprint cellphone users access to news and entertainment from ABC Entertainment, ABC News and the Disney Channel.

The shows are now available through streaming video.

Shows such as "Desperate Housewives," "Grey's Anatomy," "Lost" and "Ugly Betty" are available for Sprint users to watch via their cellphones in full-length episodes.

The television shows can be viewed the day after their television debuts.

Sprint users will be able to access the last four episodes of shows they are interested in. Users will have to pay an extra fee for this service on top of their regular cellphone service.
