Group to meet to discuss beautification
Members of the Magnolia Park Property-based Improvement District are scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in Tequila's Mexican Restaurant on Thursday to discuss plans for beautification efforts in their district.
The plans are intended to revitalize the area in order to attract businesses and shoppers to the district.
Proposals being discussed include putting a welcome banner on the corner of Magnolia Boulevard and Clybourn Avenue; lining sidewalks with trees along Magnolia and adding Magnolia Park signage throughout the area. Attendees at the meeting on Thursday will discuss a host of possibilities in order to make recommendations to the City Council.
