The council unanimously denied an appeal to place parking restrictions on Evergreen Street.

Despite passionate pleas from community representatives, the council denied the appeal for permit parking in the face of construction and filming in the area. But the council directed staff to be sensitive to the residents’ parking and traffic concerns when issuing permits necessary for commercial projects and to ensure that if a problem arises during or post construction, the matter be brought back to the council quickly.
Councilwoman Anja Reinke was absent.
