Among the special guests in attendance were Janice Cordova, whose husband serves as president and chief executive of Childrens Hospital; and representatives from the hospital’s associates and affiliates office, including board chairman Bonnie McClure, Director Suzanne Lapis, secretary Robin Hopps, treasurer Jo Ann Richman and former Burbank Mayor Michael Hastings,who served as the event’s master of ceremonies.
The assemblage was entertained by “Lucy” impersonator Suzanne LaRusch, who recently appeared on the ABC show “The Next Best Thing,” and by a talented ensemble of dancers known as F.I.R.E. — Feel, Imagine, Rejoice, Express.
The talents and commitment of Kathleen Hitt, Pat Maskell, Sharon Kurges, Lisa Murray, Cathy Zoradi, Carol Harmon, Sandie Tomer, Linda Wilson, Rosemarie Witten, Toni Molle, Christine Smith, Alice Metzger, Veronica Chavoor, Chris Welker and Beverley Jean Davies came together to make Sunday’s event possible.
