Mandatory airport curfew makes sense
I think the curfew is great and there should be one for those of us living near the airport (“Airport planning on curfew,” March 8).

Latest water rate increase is too much
Regarding your Wednesday question, “Do you think the increase in water rates is justified?” No. No! I’ve lived in my apartment complex 25 years, and seven of the last 10 or 15, we’ve had to pay extra to a company called Minol Water for about $15 a month.
I’ve asked them why, as I have a studio and the only place for water is the kitchen and bathroom. I pity the people with homes also — this has to stop.

Library is a noisier than local nightclubs lately
Is it just me or do others believe that the Buena Vista Branch Library is noisier than even the trendiest nightclub in town?

Area needs portable bathrooms for workers
My name is Ike Jones, and I live in Los Angeles.
I’m a security officer; I work in Burbank Hills, an affluent private community in the city of Burbank.
Contractors and lawn service personnel work here daily. I’m just wondering why there are no sanitation facilities here for these people to use. I’m speaking of the portables.
I patrol this community, I see no such facilities. If personnel work here, there it would seem sanitation facilities should be available. This is just a comment from me.
