From the hot rod roads up to the natural trails of our hillside, this past Friday evening saw the Stough Canyon Nature Center officials celebrate their seventh anniversary by presenting the annual volunteer recognition dinner.
Staged in the exhibit hall of their facility nestled in the Verdugo Mountains, the event drew supporters and volunteers who had the opportunity to get up close and personal with live snakes, tarantulas, lizards, iguanas, frogs and other exotic reptiles and amphibians provided by animal handler Joe Martin.
