Pasadena 92, Burbank 73: Despite having a small group of athletes, the Bulldogs pushed Pasadena on Wednesday in the Pacific League loss at home.
With the thin squad, Burbank was able to win six of 11 events.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Helena Lee, Kate Yeon, Paula Moren, Rachel Udall won (2 minutes, 15.61 seconds), as did Lucine Byurat in the 200 freestyle (2:26.19). Moren won the 50 freestyle (27.34) and the 500 freestyle (6:07.41).
The team’s 200 relay team of Samantha Carletta, Byurat, Yeon and Udall came out on top (2:00.43), as did the 400 relay team of Lee, Carletta, Byurat and Moren (4:27.83).

BOYS’ TENNIS
Glendale 10, Burroughs 8: The Indians’ drive to win a Pacific League championship was dealt a major blow Thursday when they lost to the host Nitros.
It was the first loss of the season for Burroughs (10-1, 7-1 in league).
In the loss, the Indians won all of their sets in singles and were swept in doubles.

GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD
Burbank 68, Hoover 59: The Bulldogs had a successful showing Thursday in a Pacific League meet at Hoover.
Leading the way for Burbank were double winners Jenny Yoon, who took the 1,600 meters (4 minutes, 46 seconds) and the 3,200 (13:08), and McKenzie Paul, who took the 800 (2:40) and the 200 (28.9).
Teammate Lindsey Brownstein won the 400 (1:05.0), Danielle Sims won the high jump (4 feet 6), and Jocelyne Mazariegos won the triple jump (28-1).
Burroughs 86, Muir 36: It was a Martinez onslaught Thursday for the Indians in their Pacific League meet at Memorial Field.
Sadee Martinez won the 400 (1 minutes, 2.6 seconds) and the 800 (2:27) and Monique Martinez captured the 1,600 (5:38).
