The Colony Theatre begins previews for “The Voice of the Prairie,” a play written by John Olive and directed by David Rose, at 8 p.m. at 555 N. Third St., Burbank. The play will run through July 27 and tickets range from $37 to $42 with student, senior and group discounts available. Preview performances on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday cost $20 to $25. The Downtown Glendale Merchants Assn. and Massage Envy Spa will show “The Untouchables” at 7:30 p.m. at the Alex Theatre, 216 N. Brand Blvd., Glendale. The screening is one of four films that will benefit Glendale Police Foundation (COPPS program), Glendale Healthy Kids, Glendale Kiwanis/Ducks4Kids, Glendale Relay for Life and Glendale Arts. The Victory Theatre will premiere the Tony nominated musical “My Old Friends” for the first time on the West Coast. The show will run through Aug. 10.
